UxFold Lab showing a live project with one element selected and its editing panel open

How it works

Three steps, no setup maze.

  1. 1

    Open your project

Pick a folder. UxFold Lab starts it and shows the page live, right inside the app.

  2. 2

    Click any element

Select a button, a card or a heading directly in the preview. No hunting through files.

  3. 3

Tweak with dials or tell your agent

Nudge it yourself in a second, or describe the change in plain words and let your agent write it.

Two ways to edit

Fast hands or plain words.
Use whichever fits the moment.

Dials

Instant tweaks. No AI.

Dials are tied to your design tokens, so spacing, color, radius and type stay on system. Drag, watch it update, move on.

Agent

Describe it. Your agent builds it.

Tell Claude Code, Codex or OpenCode what you want. The selected element goes along as context, and it runs on the login you already have.

Who it's for

Designers who prototype in real code.

You already think in components and tokens. UxFold Lab lets you shape them by pointing and clicking, then feel the result in a real browser instead of a static frame.

  • Explore faster. Try five versions of a layout before lunch.
  • Stay on system. Dials speak your tokens, not random pixel values.
  • Keep your tools. Bring the coding agent you already pay for.

Install help

macOS will ask once. Here is the fix.

UxFold Lab is made by an independent designer, not a registered Apple developer. So the first time you open it, macOS blocks it to be careful.

It is safe, and every line of code is open on GitHub for anyone to check. You only need to do this once.

  1. Download the .dmg using the Download for Mac button.
  2. Drag UxFold Lab to Applications in the window that opens.
  3. Open it once. macOS will block it. Click Done.
  4. Open System Settings and go to Privacy & Security.
  5. Scroll down and click Open Anyway next to UxFold Lab.
  6. Confirm with your password. That's it. It opens normally from now on.
Still stuck?

Open the Terminal app, paste this line, press Return, then open UxFold Lab again.

xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine "/Applications/UxFold Lab.app"

Make your next idea real.
